'Winter Waterfowl at the Salem Sound Diner," a presentation at the Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant St.,  tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 7. Dr. Robert Buchsbaum, Conservation Scientist with Mass Audubon, will introduce us to the Loons, Eiders, Surf Scoters, Buffleheads, Red-breasted Mergansers and other seasonal guests that fly south to our region from the cold Arctic to feast on the abundant fishes, snails, mussels and underwater plants in Salem Sound.
