Step Back in Time: Marblehead's Fishing and Shoemaking Heritage

The new exhibit, Fishing & Shoemaking in Marblehead, is open at the Marblehead Museum and Historical Society, 170 Washington St.

1. History Notes:

The Marblehead Museum and Historical Society held a reception for its newest exhibit, Fishing & Shoemaking in Marblehead, on Thursday.

Photographs and drawings with captions line the walls in the well-lit front room of the musuem telling the story of Marblehead's rich fishing and shoemaking heritage.

We at Marblehead Patch look forward to spending some time at the museum and reporting back on the exhibit.

The Marblehead Museum's galleries at 170 Washington Street are open Tuesday - Saturday June through October, and Tuesday- Friday, 10-4 November through May. Admission is free.
