Marblehead Football Starts Play-Off Run Tonight

See who and when the other play-off-bound teams from MHS are playing in these noteworthy notes.

1. Football Notes:

Magicians football start their tournament run tonight at 7 on Piper Field against Wilmington.

Here a few comments from Coach Jim Rudloff, earlier in the week, in the wake of the team's solid win against Lynn English:

"It was a good win for us.  We were able to put together 4 solid quarters of football. I was happy to see the team improve and get better from our last game against Beverly.  The win solidified our #2 seeding in the playoffs.  We will be home against Wilmington on Friday night.  Matt Millett (QB), Brooks Tyrell (RB), Dylan Cressy and Dean Fader all played great games.  We still made mistakes and we will look to improve those areas this week in practice."

Here is the box score from the Lynn game courtesy of Coach Rudloff
