Noteworthies in Marblehead on Wednesday

1. History Notes:
The Jeremiah Lee Mansion is only open until the end of October for tours. The Mansion reopens again June 1.
Look for a Patch preview of the Pumpkin Illumination coming up in the gardens of the Lee Mansion on Oct. 30.

2. Weather Watch: 

Wednesday's forecast calls for a sunny day with a high temperature of 76 degrees.

3. Sports Notes: 

Middle School field hockey plays Manchester-Essex at 4 p.m. in Marblehead at Seaside Park.

The Recreation and Parks Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center, 100 Humphrey St. Agenda items include the superintendent's report, fall field work and the Memorial Park fence project.

5. Classic Car Notes:

Sunday, Oct. 6th from 10-2 pm is the 3rd Annual Classic By The Sea Car Show sponsored by the Swampscott Recreation Department from 10AM to 2PM on Monument Avenue. About 150 cars are expected from early 20th century models to the big fendered 50s, muscle 60s and swanly models from throughout ....for more information please contact the Recreation Department @ 781-596-8854
