Culture Notes:
Wondering how to keep warm this winter? The Marblehead Museum has a suggestion. Join us for Dirty, Sexy Marblehead, on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Landing Restaurant. The event will take place from 5-9 pm, and Robert Simonelli, owner and manager of the Landing, will generously donate 20 percent of all food and drink consumed in the dining room to the Marblehead Museum. Curator Karen MacInnis will discuss Marblehead's fascinating past, and reveal some old scandals.There will be lots of fun with raffles, prizes, and history quizzes. The evening promises to be a bright spot at the end of January, and a great way to support Marblehead Museum projects planned for 2014. We can't think of a better way to support the Museum than spending a cold winter Tuesday evening in January at the Landing Restaurant in Marblehead. Please join the fun. Reservations should be made at the Landing Restaurant, at 781-639-1266.
