1. Flood Map Notes:

The Federal Emergency Management Agency hosted an information session Monday in Lynn on the new preliminary flood maps. Attached to this column are some photos of the first part, where homeowners met with FEMA reps in the lobby of the Lynn City Hall Auditorium.

2. Weather Watch: 

Tuesday's forecast calls for a sunny day with a high temperature of 69 degrees.

3. Sports Notes: 

Boys varsity soccer plays Peabody at 6:15 p.m. on Piper Field in Marblehead at the high school.

The Board of Health meets at 7:30 p.m. in the lower conference room at the Mary Alley Municipal Building at 7 Widger Road.Agenda items include a review of E-cigarettes regulatons.

The Water and Sewer Commssion meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Commission Office t 100 Tower Way, Building 11. Agenda items include superintendent updates and decommissioning of the Redd's Pond inlet chamber.

Sunday, Oct. 6th from 10-2 pm is the 3rd Annual Classic By The Sea Car Show sponsored by the Swampscott Recreation Department from 10AM to 2PM on Monument Avenue.
