The Jessica Prouty Band will play at the Marblehead Christmas Walk on the stage across from 91 Pleasant Street in the parking lot where the old YMCA once stood at approximately 3 pm on Saturday, December 3rd. They will play a mix of Christmas songs. Other acts to share the stage earlier and later in the day include, The Dream Team from a Dancer's Dream, the Boston Tap Company, Jewel Tones and Luminescence, Marblehead Little Theater, and Orakular. Santa will also appear on stage and meet and greet in a tent near the stage.
 


About the band:

The Jessica Prouty Band, a 4-piece, female-fronted, teenage-rock band, has won the John Lennon Educational Tourbus Daddy's Junky Music Rockin' Roland Battle of the Bands, came in 2nd at SchoolJam USA (the battle for the best teen band in the USA) at NAMM where Jessica won best vocalist and Cam won best drummer, won first place in Children's Hospital Boston Notes for the Cure Battle for Best Song, been in the top 10 of Little Stevens Underground Garage Teen Vogue Battle of the Female-fronted bands, and all four band members won scholarships to Berklee College of Music summer programs. Jessica and Cody currently attend Berklee as freshmen.

Music has been played on WAAF, WTOS, WFNX, WZLX, 106.3 The Bone, WATD, Pixy 103, Cool 102, WBRU and 92.5 The River. Plus, WMFO, WMBR, and WMWM.

Enjoyed by all ages, they've played Downtown Disney in Anaheim, CA courtesy of NAMM; Six Flags Amusement Parks in MA and NY; Patriot's Place; the Hard Rock Boston; Maine's Lobster Festival; Hampton Beach, NH; Higher Ground, VT; state parks; camps; and numerous VT, ME, NH and MA fairs. Their third CD, My Way, was released in June 2011.
