It all begins when a die-hard musical fan plays his favorite Broadway record, a 1928 smash hit called "The Drowsy Chaperone," and the show magically bursts to life.

A note about characters: All characters must embrace the essence of late 1920’s. Because this show is very much a character actor and musical theatre show it is very VERY important to have an animated personality.
