DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;On Saturday\, August 11th at 1:00 PM during theMarbleh
 ead Maritime festival\, local musician and historian Larry Young will be
 presenting an hour long program for all ages called "Marblehead Alive in
 1775" in the Ballroom of the King Hooper Mansion. For many of us\, histo
 ryis dry\, dull and just plain boring. Mr. Young's program\, however\, c
 ombines period music\, theater and humor with interesting bits of inform
 ation and chat that brings history to life in a way that both educates a
 nd entertains as itdescribes what it was like to be a young person in th
 e 18th century. Mr. Young is a Marblehead native and graduate of Dartmou
 th College who has performed atmuseums\, schools and universities from M
 aine to San Francisco as well as onNational Public Radio. This event is 
 supported by a grant from the MarbleheadCultural Council\, a local agenc
 y which is supported by the MassachusettsCultural Council\, a state agen
 cy.
