Breast Friends Walk
The 7th annual Breast Friends Walk. Register at Devereux Beach by purchasing a Breast Friends t-shirt for $20,00. Walk around the neck as far as you choose. We encourage you to come to the Lighthouse and sit at "Sara's Bench"
We invite all to come. It's a lot of fun and a wonderful tribute to it's founder, Sara Bryant Smith. All proceeds go to the MGH Outreach Program to assist women who otherwise would not be able to pay for their care.
More About Devereux Beach
Located on Ocean Avenue just before the causeway, Marblehead's most popular beach offers more than five acres of sand, picnic tables, pavilions and playgrounds, plus a nearby restaurant and parking lot.
Lifeguards are on duty once the beach opens for summer in late June. Restrooms are only open when lifeguard staff are present.
During summer months, non-residents must pay $5-$10 to park between 8am and 4pm. Marblehead residents must have a facility sticker or they will be charged the non-resident rate.
Four grills are available for through the Parks and Recreation Department. Bonfires, pets, glass containers and alcohol are prohibited on the beach.
