Drawing on her expertise in design and marketing\, Kathl een ran the Gooseberry Junction shop on Bearskin Neck in Rockport until 2009. She is a graduate of Molloy College\, Rockville Centre\, NY\, with a degree in art.\nKathleen describes the impact of the North Shore on h er work:\n"In 2005\, a weekend trip to Massachusetts changed everything as I immediately fell in love with the untouched and majestic charm of C ape Ann. I was inspired by the scenic coastlines\, rustic buildings\, an d nature&rsquo\;s beauty. I am currently rediscovering what I was taught as a child\, along with the unique and translucent qualities watercolor allows. I&rsquo\;m passionate about using the light\, colors\, shapes\, shadows and textures in my recent work. I currently reside in Glouceste r\, Massachusetts.
