In the coming weeks, two empty storefronts on Washington Street will be transformed into Marblehead's newest businesses - a bakery and a candy shoppe. According to local Remax real estate agent Rich Cooper, the space at 152 Washington St., formerly rented by Bliss Home, has been claimed and will be turned into a candy shoppe. Just two doors down, the former home of the Sea Gull Gift Shop, located at 146 Washington St., will be reopening as a bakery, he said.
