A historic season continues for the combined Marblehead/Swampscott High School wrestling program as senior Sean Taylor turned heads and pinned opponents on the first day of the New England championships in Providence, RI.
The Marblehead senior, who wrestles in the heavyweight division, will square off against Donovan Lozado of Chicopee, the no. 2 seed from Massachusetts today, Saturday.
On Friday, in his first match, the Marblehead heavyweight pinned John Ware of Manchester West, NH in the first period at around the one-minute mark. At the time it was the sixth fastest pin of the evening.
