Phillips & Lee Auto Service is expected to be transformed for Grown Ups 2.
For at least one day next week, Phillips & Lee Auto Service on Atlantic Avenue is expected to become "Lamonsoff Auto Repair" while scenes are fimed for Grown Ups 2.
Kevin James, who plays Eric Lamansoff in the movie, has already been seen on-set in Swampscott sporting a "Lamonsoff Auto Repair" shirt.
Phillips & Lee wouldn't be the first local storefront to get a Hollywood makeover this summer.
Mud Puddle Toys on Washington Street was recently transformed into a Red Arrow Diner and Arnould Gallery and Framery was made into a Hermosa Boutique.
Also being constructed this week - a mock playground in front of Abbot Hall.
Street Closure: Film crews will reportedly arrive at Phillips & Lee Auto Service on Sunday, June 24. Intermittent street closings will occur along portions of Atlantic Avenue and Hawkes Street and parking restrictions along portions of Atlantic Avenue, Hawkes Street and Barnard Street from Tuesday, June 26, at 5 p.m., through Wednesday, June 27 at 9 p.m.
