As each day passes, Marblehead's new 38,000-square-foot office and retail building on Pleasant Street takes another step toward completion.

Warwick Place has been designed to include space for a restaurant and the Warwick Theater Community Foundation is trying to raise the $1 million needed to open a theater in the building.

As part of our new Visions for Vacancies column, we want to know - what kind of business would you like to see move in?

Have you been hoping for a certain kind of business to come to town? Is there something you think would thrive in this section of Marblehead?

Let us know in the comments section.

Did the little noticed article at the end of town meeting which authorized the Selectmen to convert one Seasonal Liquor License to a full time liquor license have anything to do with the restaurant proposed for this new development?

This article got little attention, no justification from the Selectmen, and it may not be by chance that it was tucked in at the end.

Whose license will be converted and where will it end up?

Note the law says that once converted, the Seasonal License goes away and cannot be reissued.

I seem to recall reading that it's for the Eastern Yacht Club.

As for Warwick Place: what this town needs is a good, but not overpriced, men's clothing store.

The town needs a Healthy Organic Cafe.
