Sad to see, but hopefully it will be kept safe and restored when the new building is finished. Also sad to see the old 1870s house torn down.

So many memories come back of the 1950's when Eric Nyberg and I hung out upon that old marquee the names of the movies playing at the dear old theatre! Later, for many of those years, as an usher, I often spent 7 days each week at this old "haunt." Bob McNulty let my pal Eric and me clean up the upstairs rooms - which were originally built as a quarters during the days of silent movies - and we called it the "Marquee Lounge." I sure hope the marquee can be saved and become part of the new construction. Albert "Skippy" Belanger
