Last week, we received an email from a local resident who was wondering what kind of helicopters would be landing at Village School as part of the USMC Marine Aviaition Centennial Celebration next week.
They asked: "I read in a press release posted online that the helicopters that will be landing at Village School are the 'kind we see on the evening news.' Exactly what kind of aircraft can we expect?"

According to the celebration's official website, they will be:
- CH-53 Sea Stallion
- CH-46 Sea Knight
- AH-1 COBRA
- HUEY
- Sikorsky UH-34
