Sandler to Film in Marblehead
Adam Sandler's crew is looking for local extras for the upcoming film 'Grown Ups 2'.
Crew members working on Adam Sandler's upcoming film 'Grown Ups 2' were reportedly back in Marblehead Wednesday afternoon, snapping photos of possible set locations at the Jewish Community Center, according to a post on the organization's Facebook Page.
Sandler's film company, Happy Madison Productions, is reportedly planning to film scenes for the movie in Marblehead in May and Sande Alessi Casting, of Los Angeles Calif., will be looking for locals to cast the movie.
The same organization did the casting for hit movies including Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack and Jill, That's My Boy and The Social Network, according to a recently circulated flier.
Residents interested in being picked as extras need to bring a 4x 6 color nonprofessional snapshot of themselves to casting, which will take place at The Boston Teacher's Union Hall on Mt. Vernon Street in Dorchester on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday May 13 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Residents looking for additional information about the casting calls are encouraged to visit the casting company's Facebook page by clicking here.
