Evan's, by far the best, especially their hot pastrami on toasted marble rye with mustard. Mmmmmmmm

I must reluctantly agree with what others have said. The food,is excellent. It is fresh and the portions more than adequate. It’s Evan I have a problem with. He is cold and anything but welcoming, but itis the only game in town. I was one of his first customers and Evan knows darn well who I am, not only as an early customer, but also through my association with a local non-profit that has been very good to him.
All I ask for is a pleasant hello; instead I get noyjomh. And if I get a hello it's only because I said hello first. Shopping at Evan’s Deli is not a pleasant experience. I do not like shopping there, but if I want a good sandwich, a “real” pickle or chopped liver like mom used to make there is no another choice.
The food is excellent. The experience is the opposite.
