Police Break Up Underage Drinking Party

The following information was provided by the Marblehead Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:

Tuesday, Sept. 25:

  • At 8:00 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint near the intersection of Maple Street and Columbia Road.
  • At 8:44 a.m., police received word that a garbage truck had pulled down a wire on Nicholson Street.
  • At 8:45 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Beacon Street.
  • At 9:18 a.m., a resident called police to report losing a wallet.
  • At 9:40 a.m., police assisted with escorting vehicles for a funeral at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church on Atlantic Avenue. 
  • At 9:47 a.m., a woman called police to report that a surveyor was near her house on Doaks Lane.
  • At 11:02 a.m., a resident called police to report losing money in the area of the Boston Yacht Club.
  • At 11:12 a.m., police responded to Marblehead High School for a report of a "student putting hands on a teacher." The student was later transported to North Shore Children's Hospital. 
  • At 11:26 a.m., police assisted with a custody dispute on Barnard Hawkes Court.
  • At 2:20 p.m., a resident called police to report that a gravel, concrete and water mixture was spilled on the road near the intersection of Maple and Tedesco streets.
  • At 2:52 p.m., police responded to a reported disturbance on Pleasant Street.
  • At 2:54 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Rockaway Avenue.
  • At 3:23 p.m., police responded to an accidental 911 call from a home on Auburndale Road.
  • At 3:47 p.m., a local woman entered the police station to report that she was billed for an online purchase but never received the item she paid for.
  • At 5:30 p.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Gilbert Heights Road.
  • At 8:00 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Barnard Hawkes Court.
  • At 8:28 p.m., police responded to a report of an underage drinking party on Pleasant Street. Douglas M. Broughton, 18, of 9 Cleveland Road, Marblehead, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol and having a fake ID; Christian Oliver Lalonde, 17, of 201 Ocean Ave., Marblehead, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol; Nathaniel Mattson, 19, of 25 Pearl St., Marblehead, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol; Erica M. Moulaison, 18, of 18 Maple St., Marblehead, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol; and Stefan A. Hays-Nowak, 18, of 174 Pleasant St., Marblehead, was arrested on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol, subsequent offense, assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.   • At 9:53 p.m., police responded to a report of teens fighting in the street on Humphrey Street.
  • At 11:16 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle complaint near the intersection of Atlantic and Seaview avenues.

Wednesday, Sept. 26:

  • At 12:31 a.m., a black bike was recovered on Pleasant Street.
