Fire Capt. Michael Porter was nice enough to send along these two photographs, taken during the rescue of a local cat Sunday afternoon.
With the help of one of the department's ladder trucks, firefighters in Group 3, led by Capt. Betsy Wilson, successfully retrieved the cat and returned it to its owner.
