Marblehead High School's girls' varisty lacrosse team won their season-opener over Pentucket at Piper Field Tuesday afternoon.
The girls took a 9-8 lead into halftime and held on to defeat Pentucket 19-15.
Game Highlights:
- Kiley Fischer: 8 goals, 3 assists
- Meggie Collins: 5 goals, 2 assists, 4 ground balls
- Tyler Phillips: 3 goals, 1 assist, 4 ground balls
- Cassie Rodgers: 1 goal, 1 assist, 10 draw controls
- Eliza Quigley:- 1 goal, 2 assists
- Alli Hanratty: 1 goal
Next Game: The girls' varsity team will host Beverly April 10 at 4 p.m.
