Thousands of area residents hurried to find a spot along Marblehead Harbor Monday night, ready to take in this year's Fourth of July Fireworks Display.
Although a passing thunderstorm had some in attendance worried about whether or not the show would go on, by 8:30 p.m. the skies over the harbor had cleared and red flares began illuminating the shoreline along Marblehead Neck.
This year's fireworks show was a spectacular way to end a four-day Fourth of July weekend.
