Ice Cream Social at Jeremiah Lee Mansion

The Marblehead Museum and Marblehead Family Fund hosted an Ice Cream Social at Jeremiah Lee Mansion Saturday afternoon.

Hundreds of scoops of ice cream were served Saturday afternoon as people lined up to create their own sundae at Jeremiah Lee Mansion, complete with hot fudge, whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries.

Many families stopped and found a spot of shade on the mansion's sprawling grounds as their kids wandered through the hedge maze.

Up at 's lower grounds, families parked their strollers and got in line for the many crafts tables and face painting that was offered. A small band played and children helped them with provided instruments.

Glitter and glue, colorful pieces of pasta, piles of colored yarn and dress up items were covering the crafts tables. Marblehead Arts Festival volunteers painted faces and helped with the various craft tables.
