The sound of sirens, antique car horns and screaming children echoed off of buildings across town Monday morning as more than 1,000 local residents took part in the annual Horribles Parade.

The wacky costumes worn by those who marched in the parade included droves of Boston Bruins fans, tornadoes, lobsters, soldiers from the Colonial era and thunderstorms.
