Casa Corona Opening Soon

Here's a sneak peek inside Marblehead's new Mexican restaurant on Smith Street.

Get ready Marblehead - Casa Corona will be opening Sunday on Smith Street.

Co-owner Jose Bracamontes spent five years working as a chef at Mexico Lindo in Melrose and the pair of brothers said they expect Marblehead's lack of an authentic Mexican restaurant will mean big business.

The restaurant will be opening in the space next to Evan's New York Style Deli, which was formerly occupied by Trattoria Sablone and will offer "everything you'd see on a typical authentic Mexican menu," Felix Bracamontes said.

The recently-finalized menu has been posted in the restaurant's front window and the new awning was installed last week.

Just left Felix and Jose, all went well with the inspections and they will be opening up this Sunday for business 8/5/2012 - Judging by the number of people visiting and asking when they are opening they should do well.
