The small Italian restaurant opened in the former Moran Studios space at the intersection of Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue Wednesday morning.
Comella's is a Boston-based restaurant chain that specializes in serving up Italian meals to people looking to pick up dinner on their way home from work.

The Zoning Board of Appeals granted approvals for the new business this past fall, changing the allowed use of the building back to a restaurant from retail.
