Candidates’ Night Coming April 29

Candidates in contested races will be featured.


The public is cordially invited to Marblehead League of Women Voters’ Candidates’ Night to be held on Monday, April 29 at 7 p.m. at the Marblehead High School library.

All candidates will be invited and candidates in contested races for Board of Selectmen, Light Commission, Housing Authority, Abbot Public Library Board, and Planning Board will be featured.

The public will have the opportunity to informally meet with the candidates from 6:45 to 7 PM. The moderator for the evening will be Mr. Jeff Shribman.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan (with respect to candidates and parties) organization of women and men founded in 1920. It is dedicated to the principles of self-government established by the United States Constitution. The League works to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. Membership is open to all.
