1. It will be a wet one today. The National Weather Service is predticting that local residents can expect showers and possibly a thunderstorm. The daily high will be near 77. 2. The Marblehead Fire and Police Departments will join departments across the country in conducting a remembrance ceremony on September 11, 2012, at 10 a.m. sharp at Memorial Park. Click Here for full details.

4. The Marblehead Cultural Council will meet tonight at the Marblehead Community Center on Humphrey Street. The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., is expected to feature a discussion regarding the group's plan for the fall funding cycle, according to the posted agenda.
