5 Things You Need to Know Today: June 20

Here are the five things you need to know before you start your day in Marblehead.

Today is Wednesday, June 20, and here are the five things you need to know:

1. It should be a hot one out there today. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low around 72. (sunrise, 5:05 a.m.; low tide, 6:28 a.m.; high tide, 12:46 p.m.; sunset, 8:24 p.m.)

2. Did you sleep in and miss the first sunrise of summer? Don't worry - we've got you covered. Click Here to watch our time-lapse video of the season's first sunrise coming up off of Chandler Hovey Park.

3. If you haven't seen it already, a mock playground is slowly taking shape outside of Abbot Hall. The set will be used to film scenes for the star-packed Adam Sandler movie Grown Ups 2 sometime next week. Click Here for all the details.

4. The Board of Health will meet tonight in the lower-level conference room of the Mary Alley Municipal Building on Widger Road. The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., is expected to feature a discussion about a pending fowl permit for a home on Cloutman's Lane, according to the posted agenda.

5. Today in History: On June 20, 1782, the U.S. Congress officially adopted the Great Seal of the United States.
