5 Things You Need To Know Today, Friday, Feb. 4
Here are 5 things you need to know today.
It's Friday! Here are 5 things you need to know before you wrap up the week:
1. The Angel Band will headline the Me & Thee Coffee House tonight. Marblehead's own Haley Reardon will open the show. The 14-year-old is making her mark on folk music already. Everyone has cabin fever so get out of the house and support a local teen. The show starts at the UU Church at 8 p.m. Tickets are $22 at the door.
2. Bundle up today -- Although the high will be near 32 degrees, wind chills are expected to drop to -2. Brr! Also, not to start your weekend with bad news but more snow will be arriving tomorrow into tomorrow night. Anyone have a creative way of removing snow?
3. On this day in history - In 1789 the first electoral college named Washington and Adams President and Vice President.
4. Today at 9 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, a music and movement class will be held. Music & Movement classes are for children from birth to age 5, and the adults who love them. The class is made up of 10 weekly 45-minute classes. For more information or to schedule a free trial class, contact Teresa Coelho at musictogethermarblehead@comcast.net
5. If you're hoping to move to Marblehead or expand or downsize in town, make sure to tune in at noon today. We'll have a list of homes holding open houses this weekend. If you want to compare what's selling in town, check out yesterday's Sold! column.
