The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be showers, mainly before 11 a.m. Otherwise it will be partly sunny, with a high near 79. 3. The town's Harbors & Waters Board will meet tonight at the Harbor Master's office on Ferry Lane. The meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., is expected to feature an update regarding the ongoing pier project at Stramski's Beach, according to the posted agenda.

4. The National Grand Bank of Marblehead's fourth annual antique car show dazzled spectators Sunday afternoon. Click Here for a photo gallery from the event, which drew a crowd of residents to the bank's parking lot on Pleasant Street.

5. Today in History: On Aug. 6, 1926, Harry Houdini performed arguably his greatest feat, spending 91 minuted underwater in a sealed tank before escaping.
