Here is this week's list of five things to do in Marblehead. They are listed in no particular order:
Channel Some Christmas Spirit: The Marblehead Little Theatre has issued a call-out for Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Auditions are tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. You must be between the ages of 9-17 to audition.
Stop by the Farmers' Market: The Marblehead Farmers' Market will be held Saturday at Marblehead Veterans Middle School. The market will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will feature all the fruits, flowers and veggies you'll need to keep your family happy and healthy as we move into the fall.
Check Out a Photography Exhibit: The masterful photographs of John Fletcher will be featured in the Stetson Art Gallery in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead during the month of September. The opening reception for Fletcher’s exhibit, “Recent Journeys,” will be held Sunday, Sept. 9, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the church, located at 28 Mugford St.
Catch a Live Show: Kat Quinn and Jonathan Edwards will be perform at Me and Thee Coffee House tonight. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and tickets will be $30 in advance and $33 at the door. Click Here for more information.
Cheer: Marblehead High School's cross country teams will compete in the Newburyport Relays Saturday at Maudsley State Park in Newburyport. The relays are scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m., so consider stopping by to cheer them on.
