5 Things to Do This Weekend
Here are our picks for five things to do in Marblehead this weekend.
1. Shop Local: The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Huge Indoor Sidewalk Sale at the Masonic Building on Pleasant Street. The event will feature 17 local businesses and will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
2. Enjoy Some Live Theatre: The Marblehead Community Charter Public School will be presenting The Little Prince tonight at 7 p.m. and tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the school on Lime Street. Tickets are $5 for kids and $10 for adults.
3. Live Music: Pierce and Grace Pettis will be performing at Me and Thee Coffee House tonight at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $23 at the door.
4. Get A Smooch from a Pooch: Pawsitively Marblehead will be hosting their third annual Best Kiss Competition on Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. Participants will get kissed by their dogs for prizes.
5. Cheer: Marblehead High School's girls' varsity basketball team will take on Winthrop tonight at the high school. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., so consider stopping by to cheer them on.
