5 Things to Do This Weekend

Here are our picks for five things to do this weekend.

 

Classical Music: The Symphony by the Sea will close out its 31st season at Abbot Hall Saturday night. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 each.

Cheer: Marblehead High School track athletes will be competing in the State Relays at Pembroke High School Sunday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., so consider stopping by to cheer them on.

Support a Good Cause: The 4th Annual Peter D. Gamble Scholarship Foundation Spring Fundraiser will be held at the Gerry 5 VFA Saturday night from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Catch a Show: The Marblehead Little Theatre will be showing Rabbit Hole, by David Lindsay-Abaire this weekend. Show dates are Friday and Saturday at  7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $20 or $25 at the door.

Give Back to Mother Nature: Earth and Arbor Day will be celebrated in Marblehead Saturday with a volunteer clean-up effort at Wyman Woods from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers will be planting trees and shrubs, residents are encouraged to register at the Hammond Nature Center at the end of Everett Paine Boulevard.
