Now Open: Yannalfo's Ristorante: Yannalfo's Ristorante opened in the former home of Pellino's Ristorante, located at 261 Washington St., on Tuesday. The owner, Brett Yannalfo, 43, of Andover, said he has always dreamed of opening a restaurant of his own.

Fall Victim Upgraded to Fair Condition: The local librarian who sustained a severe head injury when he fell from a Swampscott porch last week has been upgraded to fair condition at Mass General Hospital in Boston, a spokeswoman said Monday night.

Is Larry David Coming to Marblehead?: The casting company for Grown Ups 2 Sande Alessi, is currently casting double positions for a movie filmed by Larry David. The film will shoot on the North Shore in September and October and may include stops in Marblehead.

Local Tree Collapse Victim Identified: Police have identified the Marblehead man who was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital Tuesday afternoon after a tree fell on his SUV while it was traveling toward Lynn on Humphrey Street.

9/11 Ceremony to Be Held at Memorial Park: The Marblehead Fire and Police Departments will join departments across the country in conducting a remembrance ceremony on Sept. 11 at Memorial Park to commemorate the eleven-year anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks and the subsequent losses suffered at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.
