Joyce E Duffy, 90, of Portsmouth, NH, died Dec. 16. She was the wife of the late Irving J. Duffy. Mrs. Duffy spent many years in Marblehead before moving to Salem MA, then Portland Maine, Newbury MA and later Newton NH. Most recently she had been residing at the Edgewood center in Portsmouth NH. For eighteen years, Mrs. Duffy was a dedicated employee of the Essex Institute in Salem. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and an avid volunteer for the Newbury Council on Aging and Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport.

There are no visiting hours. A memorial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 20, 10 a.m., at Our Lady, Star of The Sea Church, Marblehead. A committal service will follow at Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
