It’s Never too Early to Start Thinking about the Holidays

Project Bread seeks submissions for annual holiday cards, winners receive $1,000

May 21, 2012 — Boston — Project Bread, the state’s leading antihunger organization, is seeking photographers, illustrators and designers to help create their next collection of holiday cards. Each year, the proceeds raised from the purchase of the cards help feed local families in need. Get in the spirit of giving by submitting your artwork.

Selected artists will receive $1,000 for each design that is chosen. Their work will be sold at major retailers, including Whole Foods Market, and their designs will be featured on the Project Bread website. Artist’s bios will be imprinted on each card. Cards are usually purchased by individuals and corporations committed to ending hunger, thus designs must appeal to a mass market audience. Submissions of secular holiday designs are encouraged.

For past examples, please visitwww.projectbread.org/ourcards. Artwork must be entered by Friday, June 7th and emailed toSasha_Didier@projectbread.org. The preferred format is PDF or JPEG for printed cards and HTML for e-cards.
