The United Martial Arts Center would like to thank the community for supporting our 10th annual fundraiser for HAWC Healing Abuse Working for Change. This year our fundraiser was through several events including a children’s Stranger Danger seminar, a Massage Therapy afternoon with students from Spatech, a Women’s Self Defense class and our Open House that included a children’s kick-a-thon, a discussion of HAWC programs and martial arts demonstrations. Through these events we raised nearly $1,400 for HAWC. These fundraisers rely on the generosity of the community to succeed and to fund HAWC programs for victims of domestic violence.
