In the mood for some outstanding music on a Sunday afternoon?  On December 19th, the Marblehead and Salem Schools of Music will be hosting their annual Holiday Celebration at Abbot Hall (188 Washington Street) in Marblehead.  This special event will run from 1 to 4 PM, and is open to the public, free of charge.  The afternoon will feature performances from students of all ages, as well as instructors, representing many genres and playing styles.

The school will also be debuting its first holiday album, Sounds of the Season, a self-produced compilation of holiday-themed recordings, made by students and teachers in the school's very own studio.  The CD will be on sale for $10.  The school will be serving light refreshments during intermission, and will be holding a raffle for a brand new guitar!
